WHEN SHOULD YOU APPLY HOOF BLONDE?
- The horn can sometimes become dry and crumbly, even brittle, particularly in very dry summer weather.
- It is then wise to apply Hoof Blond directly onto the hoof wall, sole and frog to soften this horny area.
- It is even possible to bathe the foot beforehand and to apply the ointment to the wet foot for faster, more effective softening. Apply a booster application 2 months after the first application.
