Himalaya salt lick is mined from Himalaya mountains and comes with a rope. It is a 100% natural product, and probably the purest form of salt available.
The salt has high mineral content, which also gives the rose-pink colour to the product. It is rich in potassium, magnesium and iron, which are minerals essential for health. All minerals in the product are naturally present in the Himalaya salt and this makes it different from the artificially salt products, where minerals are added during the manufacturing process.
The product is very hard and makes it almost impossible for the horses and/or ponies to bite chunks of the block.
The product is also very resistant to the water and because of that, can be left outside for example, where the horse is grazing.
RECOMMENDED USE
Hang the salt in a box at a height that is easy for the horse or pony to reach.
