WHAT IS THE WHITE LINE DISEASE?
The white line disease, candida, or onychomycosis (fungal infection), are terms to describe a process characterized by a gradual separation of the inner zone of the wall. The separation occurs in unpigmented horn at the junction between the middle layer, coronal horn and the inner layer, parietal horn. This separation is invaded by bacteria and fungi, which rise to a worrying height towards the coronary band. The process of the disease occurs following a hoof problem such as an abnormal conformation of the hoof or any other imbalance condition that causes a separation of the wall. These problems affect a large number of horses and are very painful.
Frog Comfort keeps or restores the elasticity of the horn and the frog. Its oily presentation and application by brush allows cleaner use, a pleasant smell and provides quick results. This is in contrast to the widespread use of Norwegian tar, which dries out the horn and frog, is more difficult to use, has an unpleasant odour and whose results are slow to appear.
RECOMMENDED USE:
Clean the frog with water and soap. Apply the oil in the morning and evening on the frog. Apply during 15 to 21 days. Treatment can be repeated after one week. Keep protected from cold and heat. Only for external use.
